While completing his BFA in Painting and Art History at Tyler School of Art, Mike’s favorite course was Materials and Techniques. Joining the MC team has allowed Mike to put his education into practice in a multitude of ways. In his first MC project at Westfield Cemetery, Mike dove head first and hands on into assisting conservators to repair hundreds of grave markers in the historic burial ground.
In projects ranging from the restoration of the Old Pine Church fence and the reinstallation of WPA era mosaics to the delicate cleaning of 6,749 suspended cast pewter birds that comprise the Impulse installation at the Philadelphia International Airport, Mike has proven to be an adaptable and diligent technician.
On the weekends, Mike keeps his skills sharp painting landscapes in his home studio and tinkering with the suspension of his cherry red Mustang.
