Some might find spending time in burial grounds macabre, but not Kristin. Her membership in The Association for Gravestone Studies offers a clue to Kristin’s focus. Kristin has plied her skills at historic cemeteries in Philadelphia and Delaware, and of late treated Benjamin Franklin’s grave marker. Her thorough archival research skills, honed during her tenure working at the Philadelphia Historical Commission, combined with her documentation and report-writing talents are essential when working on historically significant sites.
Kristin earned her Master’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate Program in Historic Preservation after receiving her BA in Art History at Syracuse. These days, when she’s not knee-deep in masonry dust, Kristin is gardening or working on the rehabilitation of her own mid-century modern home.
