Kate Cowing, AIA
As the child of an engineer and a poet, Kate possesses the perfect amalgam of technical know-how and (deleted text) sensitivity to the historical significance of MC’s work. Kate oversees the management of conservation projects, plays a key role developing contract documents, writes proposals and prepares cost estimates, among scores of other duties.
A conservator and registered architect, Kate holds a BArch from Drexel University and earned her MS in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design. Kate is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Association for Preservation Technology and the Construction History Society of America.
When she’s not in the field overseeing a project or in MC’s office preparing proposals, Kate travels. Her trips have taken her from the American Southwest and the British Isles to camping on the southernmost tip of New Zealand.
