Dan Clark
Conservation Technician

How many recent art school grads can claim masonry conservation at the US Supreme Court on their résumés? Dan for one. He was graduating with his BFA in Painting from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art the very day we made him an offer to join the Materials Conservation team.

His craft skills were put to use immediately restoring the woodwork of an historic Philadelphia estate, replicating marble tiles for an iconic downtown building, and lending his hands to the decorative painting restoration in the Council Chambers at Philadelphia City Hall.

Dan has a new project keeping him busy in his spare time: renovating a classic Philadelphia row house.
