After two decades raising children and managing household affairs, Betsy joined Materials Conservation and put those management skills to work as our Office Manager. Five years later, Betsy has stepped up into the role of Managing Director, where she creates our staffing schedule, helps write proposals, tracks project progress, oversees budgets and billing, acts as liaison between clients and team members, and assists with long-range planning for the firm. She still keeps a watchful eye over office operations from her new desk.
At the end of the workday, Betsy’s finesse and attention to detail doesn’t waver. She relaxes by knitting delicate sweaters in fine fabrics (the envy of the office) and innovating in the kitchen with produce from her garden.
