ART HANDLING AND INSTALLATION

Materials Conservation Co., LLC often performs or coordinates the handling, transport, and installation of works of art or architectural elements. Whether this work is in conjunction with conservation work we are performing, or an end in itself, we carefully consider the unique requirements for each project. Our experience has served the needs of large and small museums, private collectors, and non-profit and government organizations. When necessary, we also collaborate with the best rigging and transportation companies in the industry.

Our experience includes:

  • Transportation, storage, and installation of a monumental sculpture by Claes Oldenburg, Philadelphia, PA
  • Removal, transportation, storage, and installation of Lee Lawrie’s bronze doors, Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex Forum Building, Harrisburg, PA
